This Lunch & Learn covers the topic of Safety and Security during events, aka things we all need to know. Whether you're a venue manager, rental company, event planner, DJ, or anything in between, sh*t happens, so we need to make sure that we're prepared when it does.
A salad bar (plus drinks and cookies!) will be served and is included in your ticket price.
The presentation, by the TC Fire Department, Police Department, and City Officials begins at 11:30am, with doors open at 11:00am. The goal with this meeting is to prepare attendees for the top ways they can be prepared (i.e., permitting & planning for potential security threats, fire and weather related issues) and how to handle any fire or safety issues that arise. (Including bomb threats, active shooters, and even unruly guests).

The Best of Michigan event is one of the largest gatherings of industry professionals in the region and serves as a wonderful place for planners and suppliers to network. The night includes food, drinks, entertainment and the reveal of Best of Michigan award winners. Attendees also are the first to see the newest issue of our magazine!
